The most interesting locomotive working now in Mongolia is perhaps 2ZAGAL. In Mongolian language, the white racer is a strongly modernized 2M62. Modernization is so great that the body of this locomotive (that used to be a carload type) now is a bonnet with powerful American diesel engines of General Electric underneath it.
