| 2 | I’ve learned a lot about metalworking and mining processes during my study tours in Saxonia and Bavaria. We have to build iron works in Vítkovice. It’ll significantly boost an industrial might of the whole region. |
| 3 | Have you heard about puddling? No, not a pudding, but PUDDLING. It’s a new technique in metallurgy which will allow us to create iron with high purity. Finish that puddling furnace as soon as possible! |
| 4 | Now that these metal works are finished, we need a proper railway connection throughout the Empire! |
| 5 | What?! You thought that all this steel would be pulled by horses?! Are you from the Middle Ages? We have the most modern steam engines for that! They can achieve blazing speeds of 45 km/h and are much more cost effective as well. |
| 6 | The importance of a railway junction in Breclav has increased, but it doesn’t have a proper train station. |
| 7 | Have you ever heard about Südbahn? It is my grand plan to connect Vienna and our most important harbor, Trieste by rail. Can you imagine having breakfast on the Danube’s riverside and then dining on a beach of the Adriatic Sea? |
| 8 | Semmering Pass is going to be a tough nut to crack. Thank God, we have dynamite! |
| 9 | Are we done with that train station yet? I hope that the result will be worth the while. |
| 10 | Now let’s focus north. The railway from Breclav to Brno is almost finished. The viaduct we are working on right now is a balanced combination of art and engineering. |
| 11 | Construction of the Emperor Ferdinand Northern Railway has stopped. Can you provide an additional funding? Consider it as an investment. Once our railway reaches Silesian mines, wealth will flow! |
| 12 | It is time to finish this train station so that we can focus on other projects. |
| 13 | Wunderbar! Locomotive works in Vienna completed the first engine of a new class. Isn’t it beautiful? |
| 14 | It is time to bring progress, I mean railways, to the eastern parts of the Empire! Firstly, we’ll connect Vienna and Bratislava. It’ll help both cities to prosper. |
| 15 | Our next task isn’t going to be easy, but it has to be done. We’ll to connect two greatest cities of our Empire. Let’s build a railway from Vienna to Budapest. |
| 16 | Our railway network is far from being finished, but I’ve been tasked to supervise mining operations near Schemnitz. Get yourself on a train, we’re building a new mine there. |
| 17 | Emperor demands that we bring him more engines. |
| 18 | There is something beautiful about mining. It is a difficult and dangerous job, but being able to extract all those riches from underground… It makes you feel that humans can truly achieve anything. |
| 19 | What can I do to leave a long lasting legacy in this world? Oh, I got it! A mining school! Being able to pass all that knowledge to the future generations is one of the best things to do. |
| 20 | Just a few finishing touches on that facade and we’re done. |
| 21 | It is incredible how fast the world is changing. I’m glad we could have been a part of this process. Also, thanks to you, the Empire grows and thrives! |
