Electrification

Electrification is available at level 40 for 10,000 . (Lowered from level 45 as part of the June 2, 2011 Game Update.) This enables the use of electric locomotives. Electric Engines are the best type to use with passengers, as they give double profit. For example, instead of a steam train giving 10,000 gold, the same train with an electric engine will give 20,000 gold.
