The CC300 is an Indonesian series of diesel-hydraulic locomotives. The whole locomotive has been designed and manufactured in Indonesia by PT INKA company between 2011 and 2012. CC300 uses a Caterpillar engine mated to transmission from Voith. While its top speed of 120km/h is not particularly impressive, the power figures are! This locomotive's power is rated at 2500HP and tractive effort at 270KN from standstill. For passenger trains, the CC300 is equipped with Caterpillar C15 generator to supply passenger cars with power.
