My whole point was the question/ comment/ suggestion "If the Wiki software is able to do it, it could build the inventory chart dynamically." ie Everything goes into a database and then each section could then be automatically updated without having to manually edit/ format each time.
Clearly, one or both of us are having difficulty understanding the other.
My post above talked about your idea in some detail, then talked about why I believe that idea is unworkable in some detail. Your most recent post sounds like it's saying, "No, you don't understand my point." I think I do, so let me try again. Shorter, this time.
If I understand your idea correctly, you would like for each user to be able to mark checkboxes on a "Museum inventory" or similar page. The checkboxes each user marks would conform to the items collected in that user's Museum. Then the Wiki could build an inventory list page dynamically, on the fly, with each user seeing a different page, based on the checkboxes marked by the different users.
If what I wrote in the preceding paragraph is a fair summary of your idea, then I understood it properly the first time. My answer remains exactly the same. Yes, Wiki does have a way to build pages dynamically based on information that changes on other pages. No, Wiki does not have a way to build one page differently for each user who views it. Once we decide what kind of information should appear on a page, the Wiki builds that page in a consistent way every time. The ability to serve an inventory list that changes based on who is viewing it is beyond both the scope and the intent of Wikia.
If what I wrote is not a fair summary of your idea, then please enlighten me.
Out of curiosity, why does it seem to be important for you to be able to use the Wiki to see which locomotives and wagons have been collected in your Museum? If you're curious about that, why not simply open the game app and look in the Museum? Even if we could individualize the content, each user would need to get the information directly from the game, anyway, so what's the point? What do you gain? If you describe your end goal for such a page, maybe we can find a solution that works for everyone.
