Well, that isn't completely true. Consider all of the special/vintage offer sets--the locomotives almost always cost gems, not gold.
No, it is perfectly fair. It doesn't say that you can send 20 gifts every hour no matter what. It says that it increases the number that you can send every hour by 20, however, there is still the daily limit that each friend can only get 1 gift every 24 hours. I think you start with a limit of 40 per hour. This building increases the limit to 60 gifts per hour. The hourly limit and the daily limit are different concepts. So if you have 400 friends, you can send gifts to 60 of them, then an hour later, you can send gifts to another 60 of them, until you reach 400 that day.

Yes, there is a maximum. I don't remember exactly what it is; I think a week, but I could be wrong. But yes, they do expire after some time. This goes for anything in your gift box, not just flags.
Not all locos and wagons belong to a set, but many do. This page describes the concept of a set:
http://trainstation.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Train_Sets
On this Wiki, sets have special pages, with links to the individual elements of the set. For example: RegioPanter I
In the in-game Shop, the set to which a particular item belongs to is listed in Italics. For example, the DB 240 Aero locomotive belongs to the DB Aero Freight set. If there's no italic text, that item does not belong to a set.
The question, I think, was how do we express the information--the fact that the cost varies based on which items you choose.
Hmm. Off the top of my head, I have 2 ideas. 1) say "Cost varies" (minus the :). 2) Nothing at all, since "cost varies" doesn't really provide any information. I don't have a strong preference one way or the other though.
Nice.
Could PF have made Charlie's likeness any skeezier-looking? I don't want that guy handing out candy to anyone.
Yes, I think that's what should go in that column. Also, I think the date in the Steam section should include day, not just month and year.
You're right; what was I thinking? Of course there are plenty of sets that require gems to complete. I was just thinking of the famous promise that game objectives (contracts, achievements) will not require gems to complete. However, this made me guilty over wayyyy overgeneralizing. OK, so no change to the Sets page.
Next question: Do we put the footnote next to every -related objective, or just the ones where there is some confusion? (The ones that have a
option). Going back to the Johann example, I put the footnote on Tasks 5 and 31. This is where the previous version of this note was located originally, because these are the sets that have gems options. However there is no footnote on task 30 (relating to Heavy Constructor ) Since this has no gems option. On the one hand, we don't want to just spam the whole page with footnotes, since our objective is cleaning things up, but on the other hand, if we just place the footnote on some of the -related tasks, we need to go through and verify which tasks need the note and which don't, creating a bit of work. Finally,
While we're at it, do we even need the word COMPLETE? Again, that's redundant. If its a , then its complete. If its incomplete, its not a .
Edit: I added a common footnote to from Johann #5 and from Johann #31. Two things with this. a) Let me know if you like the wording of the footnote. b) If we go this route, the Category:Train Sets page should be improved to state the fact that
Buildings located at the Contractor's station have different stats than the ones you can place at your own station. The Dresden Station I have placed at Johann's station is 29/19, whereas the one I have at my own station is 58/19 (which was a contract award). I think the wiki is reflecting the one you get as an award. If I remember correctly, you can't actually buy Dresden Station from Johann's Shop, its there automatically. Not sure what our plans are for displaying this information.
